    Beth is an ethics-driven professional with over 15 years of diverse management experience including organizational development, human resources, and strategic planning. She holds a bachelor's degree in Art and Design (BFA) and a master's degree in Education, Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Minnesota College of Education and Human Development (MA) and a graduate certificate (equivalent to a half master's degree) in Affordable Housing from the University of Minnesota's College of Design. In 2019, she earned a Human Resources Generalist Certificate from the University of Minnesota's College of Continuing and Professional Studies Program. She is a member of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), the Twin Cities Society for Human Resource Management (TCSHRM), and the International Society for Performance Improvement (ISPI).
    She has extensive board and community leadership service experience including: Emily Program Leadership Council, Leaders of Today and Tomorrow (LOTT) Mentor, Givens Foundation for African American Literature Board Member, Cycling Museum of MN Board Member (Finance Committee), University of Minnesota College of Design Alumni Board (Board President), CVA Alumni Board (Board President), Minnesota Orchestra (Committee Member), Cedar Cultural Center (Advisory Committee), Minnesota State Arts Board Panel Member, DOCOMOMO MN (Steering Committee), Metropolitan Council Public Art Program (Committee) and recently served as the Board President for the University of Minnesota's Goldstein Museum of Design.
    She recently received the University of Minnesota College of Education's Alumni Award of Excellence and is currently participating in the American Alliance of Museums' Facing Change: Advancing Museum Board Diversity and Inclusion Initiative.
