  • Olu’s is happy to introduce you to Deana Williams, our new Human Resources Coordinator for Olu’s LLC (Olu’s Home and Olu’s Beginnings). She provides coordination of HR policies and programs with emphasis on the benefits and compensation areas (payroll administration), insuring that the organization is in full compliance with applicable laws and regulations for all Olu’s LLC operations. This role administers employee health and welfare plans and acts as a liaison between employees and insurance providers. This position resolves benefits-related problems and ensures effective use of plans and positive employee relations. In addition, the position works closely with the director of human resources in developing, implementing and evaluating ongoing HR policies, programs, functions and activities. Let’s welcome Deana and get to know a little about her!

    How long have you worked at Olu’s? I have worked at Olu’s for almost two days.

    What aspect of your role do you enjoy the most? I love meeting new people or employees and learning about their backgrounds. It is always something exciting to know about others rather past jobs or places, learning about their personality, and being able to resolve problems that may come up ….having a satisfying answer to their question.

    Where’s your favorite place in the world? Don’t judge me lol…..Disney World ! Yes that is correct! It’s so much happiness and the entire vibe when you are in Magic Kingdom. Of course, I love to see my daughter’s face when she see any of the Disney princess and of course Mickey/Minnie Mouse.

    What are you passionate about? I am most passionate about helping others. I love being able to do something for other people including strangers.

    What’s the coolest thing you’re working on right now? My CAP Exam in the fall and my HR Professional certificates

    What’s the last book you read? “Becoming Michelle Obama”

    If you could visit anywhere in the world you’ve never been, where would you go? Japan. My daughter has a friend that recently moved back with her family. Also, we want to visit Disneyland in Tokyo, Japan.
